Walt Disney Treasures sneak peek

So what have I been up to these days? Putting the finishing touches on coloring some pages for Gemstone's upcoming Walt Disney Treasures: Disney Comics - 75 Years of Innovation. It's 160 pages of Disney goodness that'll be hitting the shelves in July.

The stories are some of the finest I've had the pleasure of working on, but for me one stands out above the others -- "Foray to Mt. Fishflake" by the late, great Floyd Gottfredson. A Mickey tale from 1934, this story was my first encounter with Mr. Gottfredson's deceptively simple work. The fact that his work holds up so well over 70 years later is a testament to his skill -- and it's a fun read to boot! Apparently I'm not the only one who thinks highly of his work!
